The Johnston's Experience

Welcome to Johnston’s Hat Company, a family-rooted hat bar created by a mother–daughter duo from McAllen, Texas. The name “Johnston’s” is more than just a brand — it’s a tribute to our family heritage, a way to honor where we come from, and a way to keep our family story alive.

We opened Johnston’s Hat Company with a vision: to bring a unique, customized hat experience to the Rio Grande Valley — something we felt our community was missing. We wanted to create more than just a storefront; we wanted to craft an atmosphere. A place where you can walk in, feel at home, slow down, and design something that is uniquely you.

At Johnston’s, every hat tells a story — your story. Whether you’re bold, classic, boho, modern, or western-inspired, we’re here to help you create a hat that expresses your personality, style, and taste. From the colors and bands to the burns, stitching, and accessories, you’re a part of the process from start to finish.

This is more than custom hats.
It’s creativity. It’s connection. It’s legacy.
